7. Editor Guide

Please note the following technical specs and best practices when using the SlingShot DAO editor for submitting an idea. Check out the Idea submission example for ideas on how to lay out your idea.

Editor Technical specifications

Canvas width: 900 pixels

Canvas length: Technically unlimited, but try to keep short and sweet!

Accepted File type: Jpeg, Png, Gif

Alignment: You have a choice of left, centre and right allignment.

Titles

You are free to design your titles however you wish. They can be static (jpeg or png) or animated Gifs. We recommend you use one of the following resolutions when designing your titles.

A. 400 x 150 (auto aligns to the left)

B. 800 x 150 (this will span the full width)

Images

You are free to design your images however you wish. They can be static (jpeg or png) or animated Gifs. As a starting point, we recommend you use one of the following resolutions when designing your images to optimize their compatibility on various devices.

A. 800 x 150 (Short height image - full width) B. 400 x 150 (Short height image - half width) C. 800 x 350 (Medium height image - full width) D. 400 x 350 (Medium height image - half width) E. 800 x 550 (Tall height image - full width) F. 400 x 550 (Tall height image - half width)
