Slingshot DAO is organised into Working Groups.

Working Groups comprise of a Guiding Contributor and certain community members, who collaborate within various governance requirements.

[5.1] Working Group Administration

For clear auditing purposes within the framework, Working Groups are administered across two items:

1. The Working Group registry.

2. The Working Group Budgets.

[5.2] Working Group Formation

Working Groups are formed via a Governance Proposal at general vote.

A formation proposal must include:

1. The Working Group name.

2. The Working Group general remit.

3. The initial Working Group budget.

4. The recommended skillset & experience required for the Guiding Contributor of the group.

Upon a successful formation vote, the newly formed Working Group should be added to the Working Group registry, and the initial budget added to the Working Group Budget registry.

[5.3] Working Group Closure

Working Groups can be closed via a Governance Proposal at general vote.

A closure proposal must include:

1. The rationale for closure.

2. The proposed closure date.

3. An appropriate migration strategy for any associated assets and resources.

4. A closure risk analysis.

Upon a successful closure vote, all relevant registry entries should be moved to the archive.
